How to Easily Remove Reels Watermark in Canva

Listen, we know how annoying it is to create a Reel on Instagram... and not have a version of it without the pesky Instagram watermark. We know you want to be able to re-use, repupose, and repost that video again and again. You worked hard on that video!!

Well, we've got some exciting news for you. We have figured out how to easily remove that Reels watermark all inside of Canva, and we are going to do it in a few simple steps!

A Step-by-Step Guide to Removing Watermarks from Instagram Reels So You Can Repurpose The Video

Step one: Creating an Instagram Reel Design

The first step in removing the watermark from your Instagram Reels is to create an Instagram Reel design in Canva. You'll want to select "Create a Design" and find the "Instagram Reel" template.

If you want to start from scratch, the design dimensions should be 1080 x 1920 px!

step two: electing and Transferring Your Reel

Now we need to pull your Reels content directly from Instagram. To do this, navigate to the "apps" section on the left side menu. You can either scroll down to find Instagram or use the search bar to locate it quickly. Once you've found the Instagram app, click on it. If you're not already connected, you'll need to connect your Instagram account to Canva.

After connecting your Instagram account, you'll see all your content displayed in Canva. Browse through your Reels and select the one you want to remove the watermark from. Click on the Reel, and it will be transferred to your project as a video background.

Step Three: Adjusting and Sizing the Reel

Now that your Reel is in the Canva project, you can make any necessary adjustments. You can resize the Reel by clicking and dragging the corners, or you can use the "right click" option to set it as the background so it takes up the entire design space. Once you're satisfied with the placement of the Reel, you're ready to move on to the next step.

step four: Downloading the Reel Without the Watermark

Once you've finalized the design and placement of your Reel, it's time to remove the watermark and download the video. To do this, go to the "share" option and select "download" and then select "MP4 Video." And just like that, you have your Instagram Reel without the watermark!

How to Reuse Your Reels Videos

And there you have it – the easiest way to remove the watermark from your Instagram Reels using Canva. With this simple process, you can repurpose your Reels and share them on over and over again on Instagram without any distracting watermarks. You can also easily repurpose this on other short form video platforms - always make sure to use audio from that platform specifically to avoid copyright violations!
