How to Create Reusable Branded Photos with the Background Removed

Your Template Club - How to Create Reusable Branded Photos with the Background Removed - Canva Templates

You see it all over Instagram… everyone seems to have super cute designed posts with cutouts of themselves. And you just want to know how to do that, right?

Well, just for context here, removing the background of an image used to take a graphic designer HOURS to perfectly, and meticulously, carve out every detail all inside of Photoshop. Essentially making a design like this nearly impossible to replicate for the fast-moving world of designing posts for social media.

Then we saw tools introduced on the internet that let you quickly remove the background of your image!! Software like this would often have a catch…

… the cutout would have chunks missing

… the cutout would be super glitchy or low quality

… or you would have to pay to have the unwatermarked version.

As always - CANVA TO THE RESCUE!!

Now, with the click of a button, Canva allows you to remove the background of your image with ultimate precision.

And the best part, you can do this to the photos you use frequently and create an entire folder of branded images to help you save even more time in your content creation process!

How To Use These Branded Images

Now that the “hard” part is over, and you have spent a little extra time creating these images of yourself, you are ultimately eliminating a part of your content creation process. When you go to design something on Canva, you no longer have to cut out the background of your favorite images, and wait for the tool to process.

Over time those few minutes save you HOURS when creating content for your business!

You can now take these images and:

  • Insert them into any Canva design to post across social media

  • Add them to a folder on your phone for content creation on the go

  • Enhance the visual appearance of your website by adding these throughout

Not sure exactly what to design in Canva, and how to use these exactly??

These types of images work perfectly on singular Instagram posts, Instagram Stories, Instagram Carousels, and so much more!!
