According to recent studies, Carousels outperform singular feed posts for most Instagram users. And I think it is safe to say that this works because your followers are able to get MORE from you on a single post.
They get to see more behind the scenes. They get to learn more from you. They get to be inspired with every swipe they take on your piece of content.
To be completely honest with you - I have tested out a TON of different carousel variations. Some with two slides. Some with ten. Some with just images. Some are heavily designed. No matter what, there seems to be a style of carousel that most followers love to engage with the most: seamless carousels.
What is a seamless Instagram carousel?
A seamless Instagram carousel gives the illusion that photos, elements, and graphics, overlap the “slides” in a carousel. This illusion will entice your followers to continue to scroll all the way through the carousel since there is visual interest to keep their eyes moving!
