3 Ways to Create Engagement-Worthy Instagram Reels Without Showing Your Face

Your Template Club - 3 Ways to Create Engagement-Worthy Instagram Reels Without Showing Your Face - Instagram Reels Canva Templates

While we know that Instagram Reels are here to stay with the rise in short-form video becoming even more popular on social media platforms… as a busy small business owner, you don’t always have the time to create them.

Maybe you feel like you have to…

  • Spend hours coming up with ideas and a script

  • Spend even more time setting up your equipment and get “camera ready”

  • Then take the time to EDIT all of those Reels to trending sounds

Time-consuming??? Absolutely.

Instagram Reels are a great way to connect with your current audience, potential audience, and future customers. But if you are spending more time on Reels than you are on your business, the payoff won’t make sense.

BUT. There is an easier way.

What if I told you that you can create a TON of engagement-worthy Reels without having to show your face and do all of this work?!

Number One: Stock Video

You can actually use stock video to create Instagram Reels that your audience will absolutely LOVE!! You can find a ton of FREE stock videos on Unsplash, Canva, or Pexels… and there are plenty of amazing paid stock video websites like Packsia.

But no matter WHAT videos you decide to use, you can use them in multiple different ways!!

  • Use multiple stock videos to create a makeshift vlog!! Set it to trending music, and BONUS points if you can add in some clips that you already have in your camera roll!

  • Use one stock video, upload it to Reels and add Instagram text on top with a profound quote!! Or better yet, you can add a Tweet screenshot for even more engagement.

Number Two: Photos

There are a ton of trends and sounds out there that work PERFECTLY for you to just dive into your camera roll, add a bit of text, music, and a few other elements, and craft a brilliant Reel!

This right here is the best way to “hack” your Reels… by not even using video!!

  • You can actually use my viral sound HERE that encourages you to post just a singular photo as a Reel to be a REBEL!

  • Make a slideshow of images using an app like Canva or Inshot, and set it to a trending song. This works amazing for photographers, product-based business owners, and anyone else with a highly visual brand.

Number Three: Canva Templates

And of course, you know I have to mention Canva - there are so many great tools inside of Canva to help you create a visually appealing Reel! You can actually grab our pre-designed templates that are strategically designed to help you get more engagement AND sales!

A couple of my tips, tricks, and hacks to make these templates even easier to use:

  • Reels Lists - Take a top-performing piece of content from Instagram, your blog, Twitter, or anywhere else you post your educational content, transform it into a list, and plug it into these templates

  • Moving Messages - Take a common misconception about your industry, something even a bit controversial, and create a quick quote that your audience would resonate with to really increase saves and shares of your Reels

  • Reel Testimonials - While you can include text-only reviews and testimonials, you can also drop in a video testimonial from a previous client or customer to really drive people to click the link in your bio so you can make a sale

  • Modern Memes - And if you feel like being a bit sassy with your marketing, use one of these templates during a sales campaign or a launch to target a customer pain point with a bit of humor and entertainment!
